California Kids Fun is a family business that has been making children laugh for 26 years. We bring an interactive puppet and magic show to your party: handmade puppets we build ourselves, comedy magic where the kids do the tricks, and a performer who has done this a few thousand times and still finds it funny. Shows run 35 to 45 minutes and are built for ages 2 to 10, with the energy dialled up or down to match the room.
You provide a shady spot and about six by six feet of open floor. We bring the stage, the sound, the puppets and our own power if there is no outlet nearby. Your performer arrives fifteen minutes early to set up so nothing starts late.
And the price we quote is the price you pay. No travel fee to Fremont from our Manteca workshop, no deposit to hold your date, and a full refund if you need to cancel.

Parks and picnic areas
Central Park is our most booked Fremont address by a wide margin. We have performed at the Brook 1, Kennedy and Mammoth picnic areas and beside the Sabercat playground, and we know which spots have shade at two in the afternoon and which ones do not. We have also played Irvington Park on Blacow Road, Quarry Lakes Regional Recreation Area at the Ensenada picnic spot, Always Dream PlayPark on Stevenson Boulevard, Arlington Community Park, Rosewood Community Park, and the Lantana Community Garden.

Community centers and clubhouses
Olive Hyde Community Center on Washington Boulevard, the Warm Springs Community Center on Fernald Street, the clubhouse at Metro West on Inspiration Way, and the Metro Crossing community room on Tom Blalock Street. Fremont's newer developments (the Commons off Sereno, Vision, Park, Success and Keepsake Rose) book us regularly for HOA family days and birthday parties in the shared clubhouse.
Preschools, schools and camps
KinderCare on Calaveras Avenue has brought us back year after year, and books two shows in one morning so the eighteen-month-olds get a shorter, gentler version before the three-to-fives come in. KinderCare Alvarado on Falcon Drive books us too. Young Explorers on Fremont Boulevard has had us back repeatedly. Safari Kid booked a four-show series across both their Mission and Irvington campuses for summer camp. We have also performed for Little Steps STEAM Preschool, Empire Montessori on Washington Boulevard, My Mother's Hug at both their Mowry Avenue and Mission Boulevard campuses in a single morning, and the Stratford School festival on Osgood Road.
Library summer reading programs, we work with your theme and age range, and we're used to library rooms and packed community spaces.
Community and cultural celebrations
Fremont celebrates more than birthdays, and so do we. We have performed at the Peace Terrace festival (one puppet show, two ventriloquist acts and four hours of balloon twisting) and at an Islamic center gathering in the Irvington area. If your celebration is a Diwali party, a Lunar New Year gathering, an Eid celebration, a first birthday or naming ceremony, or a milestone your family marks its own way, the show adapts. Grandparents laugh at this show too, which is usually the part people do not expect.
